This is my host family, from left to right: aunt, Carolina(16), Agustina(26), Peto(my host dad's nickname), Lali(13), and next to me is Manuela(24). My host mom, Emilce is in the first photograph on the right. These pictures are taken in La Plata, where the two older sisters (Agustina and Manuela) share an apartment and go to school, and the aunt has an apartment in La Plata as well. This is after they picked me up from the airport in Buenos Aires, and we spent that day in La Plata.
La Plata is the second largest city in Argentina and is the capital of Buenos Aires province. I've been in Argentina for two weeks and have already been to La Plata twice and I'm going again this weekend. It's a really cool town with a lot of college students-half of the kids from Tres Arroyos go to college in La Plata. From Tres Arroyos it's about a 5 hour drive.
